  23. I am using a 1200 Micronik/Blizzard 1230-IV/PicassoII at present.  I put
  24. this together two days ago, and it is working fine so far.  I also installed
  25. an Oktagon 2008 to run a CD-ROM, a Syquest 270 and an old optical drive, and
  26. a 2386sx-25 bridgeboard subsystem.  My buscard is 4.02, shipped in late Jan.

  28. The 1230-IV is the only accelerator card I've seen work with the Micronik
  29. buscard; the DKB Mongoose works partially, and the GVP is a washout.  I
  30. recently tested a number of Z-II cards with the Tower and 1230-IV.  As the
  31. Micronik manual says, DMA SCSI adapters do not work with an accelerator like
  32. the 1230.  However, all non-DMA cards I tested and the 1230 seemed happy
  33. together.  All other motherboard functions seem normal.

  35. I don't have a Blizzard 1260 to try, but I hear it doesn't work, and that
  36. Phase 5 is looking for the reason, because they originally had said its
  37. interface was engineered to match that of the 1230.  I also don't have a
  38. Squirrel.  Am interested in anything other folks have learned.
